Mountain Side Stream [Introduction Waterways]

Something doesn't seem too right.
During his morning patrol something began to nag at Monolith. Not a burning desire, but a kindling anxiety. He made his way to what used to be a small trickling stream that now began to widen at an alarming rate, taking branches with it. 
Was there a landslide?
His anxiety climbing, Monolith began to follow the stream to search for answers.

The start to Monoliths trip through the waterway quests. That I will kick my butt to do because its already Feb 11. I tried something different with this painting but I didn't pull it off as well as I wanted. I could benefit from some nature and shading studies :c I still like it though, learned a bit!
